Randy, this will save huge bucks on wine that simply begins to oxidate as soon as the cork is pulled... well, that is if you plan on only having a glass or two and intend to save the rest for tomorrow... or several days.

Oxygen is the number one killer of wine. So, inert gas which is heavier than oxygen places a layer of protection atop the wine. It is important to note, once the gas is inserted into the bottle, keep it upright and if you open the bottle again (because you didn't realize you weren't finished yet) you'll need to squeeze another couple of shots in the bottle.

Private Preserve is my absolute favorite wine preserver. There are other brand canisters out there but insist on Private Preserve.
